Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich and Prosecuting Attorney Steve Tucker read to children at the West Central Community Center Head Start program in Spokane. Sheriff Knezovich and Mr. Tucker were joined by Spokane Chief Anne Kirkpatrick earlier in the day at a press conference to discuss the crime prevention benefits of quality early learning and thank the legislature for their support of House Bill 3168. Knezovich, Tucker and Kirkpatrick are members of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids Washington.
